I read the book on amazon - the kindle short Until You Bleed - amazing - amazing for a lot of reasons - you are a brave woman - my husband is a police officer in a bad neighborhood twenty years - I've seen it all with him. THe pictures that you show break my heart. Keep the faith and know that you are beautiful inside and out - I can imagine the fear and how hard it must be day to day to keep the faith but as you said in one instance "you hated your family and now you couldn't wait to see them every day" Im paraphrasing but I just wanted to write this to you - your story brings me to tears but for your strength not from sorrow God Bless you.
